Chai Coffee: Cozy and Comforting
Calling all coffee lovers! If you love cozy coffee vibes, complete with warm spices and fragrant features, this is the coffee upgrade for you. With the striking flavors of chai tea, and the fabulous base of rich, toasty coffee, this is a beverage to make when you want to treat yourself or impress guests. It is perfect to elevate a brunch or to have as an after-dinner treat.
Now, because I don’t believe in wasting your time with a narrative about coffee, I hereby introduce the recipe:
Chai Coffee
Equipment
- 1 French Press (or coffee maker of your choice)
- 1 Tea Kettle (or Hot Shot to boil water)
Ingredients
- 8 scoops Freshly ground coffee
- 1 tsp Ground nutmeg
- 1 tsp Groung ginger
- 1 tsp Ground cardamom
- 1 tsp Ground cinnamon
- 8 cups Boiling water
Instructions
- Put water on to boil
- Add your ground coffee to the base of the dry French press.
- Add in your spices, and adjust the amounts for your preference.
- Mix the dry spices with the coffee grounds
- Pour the boiling water over the coffee and spice mixture and give a stir
- Inhale the spicy aroma of greatness
- Allow the spices and coffee to steep for approximately 5-7 minutes
- Press the French press plunger, pour your fabulous chai coffee, add cream as desired, and enjoy!
